  Role and Location
  Rashad has been working within the respiratory medicine specialty since 2015, and as a respiratory medicine consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust since 2020

  Memberships
  Rashad helped establish the long COVID rehabilitation service in Leeds, which won the British medical team of the year in 2022 in innovative medicine.

  Research Interests
  Has a special interest in difficult asthma, sleep medicine, biologic therapy, airway diseases and long COVID rehabilitation. As well as treating general respiratory conditions, Rashad offers diagnostic procedures including bronchoscopy and endo-bronchial ultrasound. 

  He also has a special interest in clinical research, conducting clinical trials in order to help patients access novel therapies.

  Rashad has been author and co-author in multiple publications in the fields of airway diseases, long COVID and other respiratory conditions.

  Role and Location
  Helena is a senior respiratory nurse specialist with 2 decades of experience in primary care, and specialist respiratory services. While her expertise lies in COPD and asthma, she is passionate about all respiratory conditions. She leads the severe asthma service in Hull & East Riding and supports the regional network across HNY. Additionally, she works as an independent ACP in primary care, providing expert respiratory support, education, and mentorship.

  Committed to service development, Helena chairs the PCRS Service Development Committee and sits on committees within ARNS and SANN driving national respiratory improvements. She is a dedicated educator, sharing expertise across multiple platforms and founding the Humber Respiratory Champions Network to mentor emerging leaders in respiratory care.
