Asthma – COPD overlap; does it exist? (With live Q&A)

There has been much interest in the respiratory landscape about the existence of patients with symptomatic lung conditions who have features of both asthma and COPD – or mostly commonly known Asthma and COPD Overlap (ACO).1 With the advancement of precision medicine, the question should be raised if ACO is indeed needed for the therapeutic identification of patients.2

For HCPs, the importance of respiratory patients receiving the right diagnosis is crucial to ensuring the best course of therapeutic management for each patient. Currently, there are various challenges in the diagnosis and management of patients with suspected ACO.3,4

We are welcoming Professor Dave Singh and Consultant Respiratory Physician Hassan Burhan to examine the clinical characteristics of ACO including an in depth discussion of some case studies to try and answer the question – does ACO really exist?

This webinar will be broadcasted on Wednesday 28th February 2024, 1-2pm, we will be hosting a live Q&A session after presentation allowing you to ask any questions related to the presentations or generally on the subject area.
