Why is Early COPD Diagnosis Important in Primary Care?

Without diagnosis, COPD patients are at risk of a lower quality of life, with a later diagnosis often associated with more frequent exacerbations.1

Protective systems are needed to avoid future cases of COPD. Therefore, it is paramount to understand the different risk factors involved, health inequalities, and to challenge the current methods used for diagnosis. This webinar focuses on the importance of getting COPD diagnosis right early, discusses the impact on patients’ disease management pathway and considers the consequences of this action on patients’ long-term disease progression.
