Requesting Stock For Academic Research
Provision of stock for academic research is exempt from restrictions on sale and supply of prescription only medicines in Schedule 17 (part 4) of the Human Medicines Regulation published in 2012.
If you are an academic requesting to purchase stock of one of our prescription-only medicines for academic research, please complete the online form to submit your request.
Please also upload a letter summarising the request, which must be printed on institution letter-headed paper and signed by the principal of the institution concerned with education/research, or the appropriate head of department in charge of the specified course of research.
What Should Be Included?
- The name of the institution for which the medicinal product is required,
- The purpose for which the medicinal product is required, and
- The total quantity required
